Very crowded Cell service was Terrible. Muddy in some spots and there is no Lake! Big rigs could easily fit. And it's good for a night or two but don't listen to the reviews on cell service. I have both AT&T and Verizon and I was only pulling .5 mbps in the majority of the site. This place was very crowded. Definitely a few people who looked like they lived there full time. Not my favorite place.
Sadly, there was no safe spots available! This place is incredibly crowded, just like every camp spot in Arizona this time of year.
Plenty of pulloffs and camping sides, some have difficult entrance, but if you under slow anything is possible.
The rain is pretty heavy this time of year, which makes it difficult to travel on the dirt road. I did see a few cars and vans stuck! Enter at your own risk!
I decided not to camp here for the evening, I will be resting here for the day and hopefully heading north!
Once you figure out where the sites are it's great. Large spots that are spread out. The spot we chose was littered with trash but we spent an hour picking it up. Please clean up your campsites people!! Great reception also.
The camp sites a really spacious and tranquil. This felt as if we were off grid but yet you are rather close to the lovely town. Definitely recommend. The lake was dry when we came.
It’s very spacious but it’s full couldn’t find a spot so I camped out over an area full of rocks it was ok though
Nice spots with awesome verizon cell and data reception (with booster), not far from town. There is no water in the lake despite google satellite photos showing otherwise, it looks like there hasn't been water for a long time. Lots of trash and broken glass, please pack out your trash. No bathrooms, no amenities. Road was difficult in our street van, very bumpy, but definitely manageable as long as you go slow.
Gorgeous camping location with plenty of campsite options very spaced out. Lots of opportunities for free firewood, but there was a no campfire order in place. The big downside was that I picked this place for the lake and there wasn't one any more. There's one further down the road but you can't camp near it.
Easy access from lake Mary road. Many pull offs, but fairly crowded on a Friday. Still got a private ravine around 2pm
