Closed for winter

Gates closed for most forest roads in the Coronado NF. Didn't pay attention to the close date. Opens March 1.

Come early

If you don't, you probably won't get a spot, there's not very much room here. But the last two sites on the ridge are the crown jewels. If you walk up the trail, at the end of the road, looking on the left, there is a nice private camp site-park your car in the "parking lot".
